N1: Internet Short Track Racing Series: Race #1

***RULES HAVE BEEN UPDATED.  I needed to make some minor changes, so PLEASE
ENSURE THAT YOU RE-READ THE RULES before running your race.***

PLEASE, ensure that when you send results, that you name them correctly and
PUT YOUR DRIVER NAME in the subject line!  Otherwise, I may overlook you!

The Internet Short Track Racing Series gets underway this week with the
Summer Sizzler Twin 100's at Martinsville, ***ia.  Both divisions will be
going 100 laps around the flat half-mile.  Traffic will be a key factor in
this race.
REMEMBER:  ALL DRIVERS WILL START AT THE REAR OF THE FIELD!  READ THE RULES
VERY CAREFULLY to ensure you get the CORRECT pcx files after the race.  Make
sure when getting screen shots that you DO NOT HOLD DOWN the "print screen"
for more than about a second!
Send your race standings ONLY to me by July 20, 1997.  PCX's are sent BY
request ONLY!
There may be a slight change in the schedule:  Lake Geneva may not be
available by the time it comes up, but it may be replaced by Southern National
Speedway.  I'll keep everyone informed as to the situation.
REMEMBER:  This is a NASCAR 1 series; not NASCAR 2.
THIS SERIES DEPENDS ON EVERYONE'S HONESTY!  Let's keep it clean and have
fun!
We may have some software to disallow hacking coming our way.  When I get it
and test it out, we may go to using it.
Remember how results are scored.  I don't want to hear any complaining when
the results are posted.
We'll have a driver's list posted soon also.
Good luck gentlemen, and have fun in the ISTRS!
