I am fixing to install Nascar 2 for the first time ver 1
I would appreciate any suggestions.. Win95 or Dos and where and what
patches should I install

I highly suggest DOS.  If you have IE 3.0 you may need to run the Sierra
AutoUpdater (but that may only install under a Win95 install to fix the
problem of IE being disabled by the installation -- the Win95
install breaks IE 3.0 -- but not IE 3.01).  Definately get the 2 patches
(1.01 & 1.02) available at Sierra's web site.

There is no need to get BOTH patches.  Get the new SINGLE patch that
eliminates the need for two patches.
