I just messed up my LWFF....

Ok, I was messing around with the inside of the wheel to try to fix the
excessive slop of the wheel, which i think i fixed. Problem is, i created a
much much greater problem, as both of the steel cables that wrap around
these two plastic wheels have become undone, and I have no idea how to wrap
them up the right way. Can anyone point me to where I can find out how they
are supposed to be fitted? Thanks.

Haven't done it myself, but research has led me to
http://members.xoom.com/JensSchu/LogiCorner.htm  Check the "ball bearing
manual" article - it explains how the unit comes apart, and as an added
bonus, also tells you how to put it back together again!

OK, I looked at the instructions, i understood them, but after 5 hours of
trying to reattach these goddamn cables over the pulleys only to have them
pop out time after time and having to start from scratch i must give up.
Would Logitech replace my wheel ?

I would think you voided the warranty by opening it up. You could try to get
another from the retail outlet you bought it from... This didn't come from
me, but  you **may** get away with putting it back together and make it
look like the cable "snapped" in two...... ;) Most of those joints will
simply exchange it and claim a refund from their supplier...

It can be done. Honest, I've done it. You just need to put in another 5
hours or so. :)
