First of all, to clear a few things up:

1) I am not ymenard, and ymenard is not me. I never even talked to him or
replied
to any of his messages, until the "Le Chicken" thread got started.

2) My purpose here was to lighten up the atmosphere in r.a.s., and to joke
around
    with those who joined in..

3) I am not to be taken seriously! When I said "I am the ruler of all
chicken-kind",
it was meant to be humours, and it was just acting.

I have received a few positive replies and e-mails, either adding to what I
wrote, or
telling me that I made the person laugh. However, I also got a large amount of
flame e-mails. I have been told that I am a "psycho", "retard", "reject",
"idiot" and
called many other names. I have also been told that I am a bother. That I am
immature, not wanted, and that I should leave. Other people have replied with
more vulgar and *** e-mails.

Of course I am happy when I make someone smile or laugh in here. I knew that
would get a negative response from some, and I can handle the flames. However,
if I get so many negative e-mails and bother and upset a lot of people, it
defeats
the purpose of being here and trying to lighten things up.

What do you think? Do you like the things I write and find them amusing, do you
not care whether I stay or not, or do you want me to "just get the hell out of
here" (as
someone put it)? A reply post to this message would be nice, but since this AOL
server doesn't pick up all of the messages (I'm still looking for a a "real"
ISP), I'd prefer
an e-mail response.

Many thanks to all of those who enjoyed my posts and felt a bit better after
reading them, and I'd like to say "I'm sorry" for those of who I have been an
inconvinience for.

For those who wrote me all of those flame and sometimes even *** e-mails:
I cannot believe that you would flame somebody like that for trying to lighten
up to mood.

Oh, I don't mind you being in here. I think that it is a good idea to
try to lighten things up around here. Many people in this newsgroup
constantly fight with each other, so some humour is always welcome. I
admit that you aren't always funny, but I don't mind a good laugh in
general.

I know what you mean about AOL and their newsgroup server. Check
out IBM. They are a good ISP, and much better than AOL.

Uh oh John.. Looks like he's been called some pretty *** names here..
Just wanted to let you know that not one of them is from me. So looks
like I'm not the only "bad boy" here.. What if you got called THESE in a
bar? What would you do then?

I am not LeChicken, and LeChicken is not me also.  I never even talked to
him or replied to any of his messages.

I understanded that the minute you arrived here, and I really appreciated
your funny remarks.  This is the reason why the simracers didnt assimilated
your race :)

I am not to be taken seriously also! When I say "I am the ruler of the
Simracing-kind" it is meant to be humours, and it is just acting.

Sorry some people cant get along with you (I understand you fully).

Well, you have to consider that what you think is funny might just be
annoying to others.
I come here to read about racing sims. If there is something funny
that pertains to racing sims, or even some real racing info that is
entertaining, I'm glad to read about it.

This is honestly about the 4th post I've read of yours. The first 3
had nothing to do with racing sims, so I quit reading anything with
your name on it.  Sorry.
I actually only happened to read this one because the length of the
header obscured your name until I clicked on the message.
I'd rather just ignore someone than compound the problem by bickering
with them. There is just too much good info available to wallow in
anger.

I don't feel the group needs an official founder, leader,  comedian or
official bird.  I also don't feel it should have anything to do with
being a popularity contest.

I assume you like racing sims, or you wouldn't have selected this
group. Why not write about the game or real life event that got you
into racing games/sims to begin with?
Do you compete in any kind of real life racing, be it autocross or
local drag racing?
I'm personally into off-road motorcycles, be it enduros, hare
scrambles or motocross.

Everyone can relate to that stuff, and if you're looking for
conversation, it's a much better way to get it.  :)

Talk to you later, lechicken.

I eat chicken every day, why would I defend the honour of one that is
being insulted in a bar? If I was forced to do something I'd probably
jam it on to a few skewers and knock myself up some yakitori.

Cheers!

Hmmm Wade Boggs..  Doesn't it get old? Or do you make different things
out of it?

I've tried it as a waistcoat but it gets a bit messy. I'm wondering if
I got a hold of "Le Chicken" with giblets intact I could probably work
up one of those lumberjack hat thingies with the little ear warmers -
that might be quite nice :->

Cheers!

I can appreciate your attempt at trying to lighten things up, personally I
prefer to stick with auto sim discussions, as this is rec.autos.simulators.

After receiving many positive e-mails, I've decided to stay. Some have
suggested that I should perhaps write some useful things now and then,
and contribute to some of the discussions. I will, but when I do, I'll use
my regular AOL account instead (This is just an additional screen name,
or "child account").  If you think that I am annoying, or don't just don't
want to read any of my posts, feel free to ignore any posts by

I'm still waiting for my hard boiled egg, if you are the "real" official
chicken of RAS this should not be too difficult a request to comply
with. I am beginning to wonder if you are the real one or just an
imposter<g>.

OK, my chicken friend, better late than never I suppose, I must say
though as an "official" chicken as opposed to your garden variety
chickens you should set an example and respond immediately to requests
for eggs, etc.

BTW I heard a rumor that Col Sanders would like to talk to you, if I
were you I'd be careful about going out at night and remember to keep
looking over your shoulder<g>!
