Having probs with castrol bike game, i have the demo, get the start up
screens, but when i get into the game and just a black screen with sound /
bike gears and speed but other wise a huge black screen any help would be
great
I have a 3dfx monster - 200 mhz so should be no probs and also it is a 3dfx

I had a black screen too. I changed my Monster card driver with
the "direct 3d 3dfx" driver found at the 3dfx page(3dfx.com),
and all worked well.I'll send you a copy of the driver by e-mail

I run it fine with a Pure 3D. Make sure you have the latest drivers for the
monster, a lot of people seem to be having the same problem with this demo.

I had a problem until I changed my Windows screensize to
640x480, then everything was fine. Great graphics, good
sound. It is a lot like the F1 sim done by them.
Now, see, in _my_ newsreader, the thread about this topic is right below
this one. I wonder how he has his reader setup that he could possibly miss
it? I mean it says black screen right in the subject...

I had the same problem; just go to http://www.3dfx.com and install their
3dfx reference drivers--it worked for me
