How do you install BRANDS!!!!??????

I, like some others have posted here, cant get the Brands Hatch track to
install. I have no other add ons installed so the original exe file has not
changed, I have over 2 gigs of hard drive left, yet it stills says there is an
error part way through the install process. I have a typical install, not full.
I have tried Deja news and see a long (46 message) thread, but no real single
solution. Has anyone figured out why this is happening and how to get it to
work? Any help would be appreciated. I will try the fixes listed at deja news
but since there appeared to be several different solutions, I'm not exactly
sure if any are going to work.

Try downloading again. It may be corrupted. Also check HD space.
If there is not enough room on the HD the install will hang up.

Here are the first five lines of the readme.txt in the brands.zip file:

"Brands for GPL

This program creates Brands Hatch for GPL.
You MUST have a full production copy of GPL installed on your hard disk
for the track creation to work."

Maybe this is why it doesn't work on your typical install?

If you're installing direct from the zip file, it will not work.You have to extract
all the files to temporary folder and then run the install file.

The secret is the full install. I overwrote the typical install with Full and
the patch worked fine. Thanks to all who replied.
