Maybe someone can help me. I downloaded the window mesh & stick shift
from the Pits website but I cant get it to work. They said there were
some fixes and I should try again. No luck. If someone could tell me
what I'am doing wrong or better yet send me there layout file w/ the
mesh & stick I would appreciate it. Thank you. Doug D
I tried installing this thing too, but had no luck. I looked at the
enclosed INSTALL.BAT file and the first thing it does is unpack the
LAYOUT.PCK file, whick doesn't exist on my system, or on the Nascar2 CD. So
I just blew it off, and quit while I was ahead.
Oh, and just so I am not thought to be a total incomp, I was able to install
the " Dirty Windshield " patch without any problems.
I had the same problem. The install.bat file is wrong. The first line
tries to unpack the layout.pck file, which doesn't exist yet. Change
it to unpack layout.dat. It installed for me OK, put it takes alot
longer to start Nascar2.

I believe that should be the LAYOUT.DAT file in your layout directory.
