OT: Le Mans movie in PAL format

Hi all,

Sorry for the OT post, but I would really like to buy the Le Mans movie
in PAL format. You know, the one where Steve McQueen drives a 917. Of
course you know ;-) Ive only seen it about a million times, but my
only copy (taped from TV) in on Betamax, so as you can probably guess,
I havent seen it in a while.

Anyway, can anybody tell me where I can buy this online? I would really
appreciate it - thanks.

Regards,

Soren Sarstrup

It was on Channel4 in the UK at the start of the 1998 season (or whenever
ITV got the TV rights from the BBC) & I think I have it on tape somewhere.
Absolutely fantastic Ferrari sports car action with great sounds worthy of
being in GPL.

I'll have a check for it on Video (I definitely have 'Grand Prix' on Video
UK VHS standard - I'll trade a copy if someone can copy an American NTSC VHS
tape onto UK VHS for me)

Try Duke Video

Also check out Autosports Ltd. (Toad Hall) site on Micheal Keyser's new
book "A French Kiss With Death" on the making of the film:

Thanks for your help,

I've tried Duke Video, but they don't seem to have it.However, I am
going to do it the hard way now, and buy a new video that has NTSC
playback. I'm sure it'll come in handy for other things as well....

Thanks,

As a last resort try a video transfer service. There are places that can
transfer video from one format to another for a few $$.
