DTM Heat "mod"

I just downloaded the DTM Heat Mod and gave it a try (if you havent
tried this, you should).  Before I spend huge amounts of time
downloading all the add-on road courses, can anyone tell me whether
the AI work (and how well) on the add-on road courses that are now
available such as Silverstone, Laguna Seca, etc?  I have only tried
one Heat add-on track (Brickyard) and I noticed that in the main game
(unmodified Heat) the AI seem to crash into the wall too often at the
Brickyard, is this a usual problem for add on tracks?

I haven't sat down and figured out how many, but there are some tracks
that work fine and others with AI for different series.  Heat has a feature
where is can learn YOUR laps....so if you run a bunch of practice laps
cutting corners and slamming into walls, then the ai will do that too.
There is a procedure for updating the ai to your level, but I can't
remember the steps,  searching with google and using the groups button might
dig up some info.  The 'cheating' way to do it is...
Rename the track.  If you have Indy...rename it to dtmindy.  Then go and
drive about 10 clean laps.  There was a reason that this wasn't the
PREFERRED method, but I can't remember just what it was... :0
Finally if you go to theuspits.com and click on the tptcc league, they
are in the final stages of testing a dtmv2.3 or .4.  If you join the group
you can access the yahoo pages and dload the latest .car files.
