Why don't you just activate the profile before you start GPL?

I think this has been posted before but if you can help it is much
appreciated. Whenever I re-boot my computer I have to reconfigure my
MSFF in GPL. Actually I have to quit GPL, activate the profile in MS
profile activator, then restart GPL. If I don't quit and restart I have
only single axis pedals and steering is all messed up etc.

Uh Daxe, that would be way to easy and then I wouldn't have any questions to post to
this board. Will try it, I just assumed that once activated a profile stays
activated and indeed my GPL profile is still activated when I go to reactivate it
but it seems to like being checked again before it will work.

It is a pain to have to remember to go into the activator, instead of just starting
GPL. Is there another problem that would cause the profile to have to be rechecked
before starting GPL?

Thanks

I have a similar situation here.  I check the activator and the last profile
*seems* to still be checked, but sometimes the game doesn't read the info.
I have taken to just checking the activator before I start a game and
checking off the the profile again.  It may be a nuisance, but it's less of
a nuisance than having to exit a game to do it.

Couldn't say, exactly, because I have the same deal here.  I wonder if you
could make a batch file to start GPL that calls the activator and loads the
profile, then calls up the GPL executable...hmm..I'll have to poke at this a
bit.

Thanks for the reply Daxe,

It is really nice to get confirmation of a problem even though the solution may not
be apparent, and I would like to thank you for taking the time. If I come up with a
solution I will let you know.

I wonder if this is a problem with the logitech or other wheels?

Thanks again

Larry
