Can anybody give me some advice on overclocking an Intel 133. I have an
ASUS P55T2P4 board

What are the possibilities (166,200 ?) and the risks involved (overheat,
failures, death?)

Thanks a lot

Overclocking the buss is definately not cool. Your P5-133 is already running at
66mhz. On my MB the CPU multilpier is set to 2x. I suppose you could try 2.5x or
3x, but the chip really is not made to handle it. I tried this with some 486's
and the results were poor. No way would I try it with my new P5-133. I would wait
until the P5-166 & P5-200 are cheap enough to "feel good" about buying. Since
both of these CPU's operate on a 66mhz bus, my P5-133 would pop out, and one of
these faster CPU's would pop in, reset the multiplier & re-boot. GP2 would still
be a dog :-) Wooof woof. hehe.
