: Dan,
: I think all everybody is saying is, "If there was only one thing I could
: request from Papy for Nascar 2, it would be the save option." Some
: people are just a little more vocal about it! Adam, if you're listening,
: we're not complaining about the game. You've done a great job! We just
: would like you to consider a patch to save the game. We will wait for a
: while if we have to. We just would like to know if it will happen at
: some point.
The post from Adam may have gotten lost in the shuffle. But, if I read
it correctly, there may still be a chance for a save game feature. We
just have to let Papyrus/Sierra know how we feel. Please do it in a
calm, cool and collected manner. For those that missed Adam's post,
here it is:

Hi All,
Okay, let me replay to this for the last time (I hope). The save
game option was left out because we didn't have time to do it. Not
because we wanted to make it more "sim" like, not because anyone said we
had to, not because we can't stand the thought of people using the game
like they want. It was purely a resource/time decision. We decided to
have some other features in the game instead of the save race option. I
know there are many of you who are upset with that decision and I am
sorry about that. Unfortunately, because of the nature of the feature, it
would be difficult to implement in a patch. I am not saying it will "never"
happen, just that we don't have any plans as of right now. I appreciate
all your criticisms and responses regarding this problem. Keep other
suggestions coming.
Adam
