F1 Relay...now I've done it...

by Dave Henri » Tue, 18 Jun 2002 12:32:42

Tried signing up for F1 Relay, to run the FIA GT cars....I got it all
installed,  and chatted with some users...then (being the NON manual reader
type that I am...)  started pushing buttons to see how they worked...next
think I knew I wasn't in the FIA part anymore and when i tried to change
it...I get an illegal operation error box as it tries to connect to the
server...
What can I do to reset the client software?//

Hi Dave,

I had a similar experience Friday, R U sure you need to re-install all?

If the error says that your user is already in use, U just have to wait a
while, the server will refresh and you'll be able to log-in again.

Once your problem solved, navigating the client is not all that ***ce
you get used to the interface, a few tips here the server will install what
games you have installed on your computer, then opening the "game's" folder
you will have three subs : the "server" is where you chat and the "Session"
is where you play.

Once you have been in several (say F1 2001 & GT2001) you will have buttons
appearing for u to navigate between "Games"

Hope it's clearer now...
;o)
