OK - Superbike 2001 has the most amazing graphics, even on a modest system.

F12000 & F1CS2000 don't look as good, and require better faster hardware.

They are ALL published by EA

Why the HELL doesn't EA use the Superbike 2001 graphics engine in their F1
lineup??

we just covered that recently.  Superbike is version of
NFS: PU and F12k/cs2k are based on SCGT.
Two different teams of developers, two different results.
Even tho EA has the rights to each, I don't think they can
take one developers code and give it to another...
(I could be wrong about that tho..){Lord knows I have been before...}  :)

The simple answer is that Electronic Arts is a *publisher*.  The games
they sell are developed by programing shops that are their own entities.
The guys that wrote SB2001 was a completely different company that has
EA publish their stuff.

A parallel is Sierra. They *publish* racing sims developed by Papyrus.

Because they will get their products sold anyway and can do another update
next year with a decent engine.

I think because it is developed by two different developers.
