The GPLEA have released their latest car update for GPL, the Eagle. This
car is based on the original Papyrus Eagle for GPL. It has been edited by
Gustavo Olivera (3D model & textures), Ken Drouillard (textures & 3D model),
Joe Lafrite (initial 3D model, information, pictures). Thanks guys.

Beautiful car! Very beautiful! Perhaps I now must leave my dear Ferrari,
at least for a while... ;-)

I agree it is a superb effort, however....

My system crashes to the desktop when I try to race with this car (I can use
it alone on traning). It doesn't seem to work alongside the JF carset. I
would dearly love to use it but to use the default papy cars alongside it
would be a retrograde step.

Hope GPLEA will do all the cars then it'll be great!

Alan and others: I do have the same problem! And I am not using any
"JF carset". I just have the 3 exellent GPLEA cars (Fer, Bra, Lot),
and some small mods with other cars (dashes) - no problems. But when
I start racing, when the new Eag is involved - either as my car or
also when not(!!) - the GPL crashes to Windows! When I change back
to my prevous Eag, all works again! Strange! Perhaps GPLEA could
make a little less advanced version of the Eagle, as advanced as were
the three previous? Or what? I would not like to miss this very
beautiful new Eagle!

THANK YOU! The version v1.0a solved the problem! Very, very fast
response, indeed! (I just hope the commercial gang were at least
only ten times slower in patching... ;-)
