Odd Thrustmaster Problem

by Mark » Mon, 06 Aug 2001 12:07:55

Just got a Thrustmaster Modena (non-FF). If I just install the drivers, the
*** options program in control panel works ok, but no split axis.

If I install the Thrustmapper program, I get split axis but *** options
says that I am missing a file (doesn't say which)

I could live without it, but Super One Karting will not recognise the brake
pedal (have tried all ways with the Thrustmapper (auto, manual & off))

Any ideas??

Cheers, Mark.

I don't think S1 Karting will work in split axis mode, at least I've never
got it to work that way. I have to set up my wheel like a 2-axis joystick to
get it to work.

Which OS? There is a patch on the thrustmaster site for ME.

98se. I have downloaded all the different versions of the driver from the US
site. I'll just try them 'til I find one that works.

A quick update, got it working ok. It would appear ZoneAlarm was upsetting
the installer for some reason.

Right, now to go and relearn GPL with Throttle help & Braking help off.

Cheers, Mark.
