It's changing servers, I think.

"Well, the DNS server has been set up, so your ISP should pick up the server
change within the next 24 hours...It's a really good improvement on the
speed side of things, so well worth the hassle.

To make sure you get the right server when your ISP has processed it, access
the site for the next 24-48 hours by typing in the URL and not by making use
of the bookmark, since a bookmark uses the i.p. address, which has obviously
changed now.

When you're on the new server, it says "This is the new server. Refresh your
bookmarks!". Then you can safely refresh your bookmarks and use them from
then on. It's a bit of a hassle again, but worth it."

It had worked all day, but it could be that your ISP hasn't changed the i.p.
address yet...That could happen...You can access the site at
http://216.240.128.82 as well, but www.simracingnews.com should really
work...The servers are all ready, now it's up to your ISP.

I hope this helps,

Hi Kenneth,

I did a tracert from here (Peterborough, ON, CA) and got a "Destination net
unreachable" message. Will retry over the course of the day.

It looks like the server is offline now...Didn't have that when I posted the
reply...The Gamer's Alliance (our hosts) guys have been contacted and I hope
it'll be fixed a.s.a.p. I'm very sorry about this. It isn't the new server,
since that one was working around 16:00h, and it also looks like the other
server is down as well...

We'll try to get it sorted as soon as possible.

My apologies,

And just when you say that...The site is back online again. They're working
on a new system at the moment, which puts the site on three different
servers, so when two servers fail, we'll even have a third one...So it
shouldn't be giving any problems anymore. Well, I'm going to start updating
the news now :)
