I've been doing some flying in Lockon v1.1 lately (waiting patiently for
GTL) and up till recently had been using Loman v2.1. Yesterday I upgraded
Loman to Modman v5 (same devs) and discovered to my surprise Modman now
supports rFactor and it's mods (IIRC GTR also).

Modman (Loman) is indispensable tool for applying mods to games. You can
easily disable or use that particular mod whenever you choose with just a
few clicks. Makes mod management a breeze when you have applied so many
mods that you couldnt possibly remember them all.

Be sure you do a clean install of rFactor (or other supported games) then
patch to the current version then install Modman and apply mods.

Though I havent created any Modman/mods it does look easy enough.

OT: A new (free) WW1 mod for CFS3 called Over Flanders Field has arrived.

I dbl checked with both NAV and AVG and it comes up clean. Sillydl and
shawn.exe clean. in fact IIRC multidropper is a dll packed trojan. I don't
think I d/l'd my copy from Checksix (too dam slow). Maybe try
biohazardcentral (or whatever it is now) you know those French bastages ;).

The exe I have is Modman50012.exe is 14,488kb dated 10/08/2005.

ok I prolly got it from 1st link, that is what scared me... as soon as it
was downloaded it poped up on my machine (Computer Associates av, not saying
theyre good it is just free with SBC...)
