GTL) and up till recently had been using Loman v2.1. Yesterday I upgraded
Loman to Modman v5 (same devs) and discovered to my surprise Modman now
supports rFactor and it's mods (IIRC GTR also).
Modman (Loman) is indispensable tool for applying mods to games. You can
easily disable or use that particular mod whenever you choose with just a
few clicks. Makes mod management a breeze when you have applied so many
mods that you couldnt possibly remember them all.
Be sure you do a clean install of rFactor (or other supported games) then
patch to the current version then install Modman and apply mods.
Though I havent created any Modman/mods it does look easy enough.
You can get it here http://www.racesimcentral.net/
(Slow site) I dont have a mirror but google should make it easy nuff ;)
OT: A new (free) WW1 mod for CFS3 called Over Flanders Field has arrived.
Still early but looks very promising. http://.off.oldbrowndog.net
