  Yes they were but you have to remember these things were getting
over 400 horsepower out of 183 cubic inches,

  I think a testamony to Eagle is that just a few years later Daniel
Sexton Gurney brought specialized Eagles to the Brickyard and they
were the cars to beat with the Turbo Offy in them.

  All in all , Gurney has truly made his mark in auto racing, both
nationally and internationally
