High Stakes, Anyone having this problem?

by Jodo » Tue, 22 Jun 1999 04:00:00

I just rec high stakes yesterday. After installing it I went to auto patch and
d/l ed 2 files for it. restarted, and tried to run game. Everything is comming
up all blury, no pointer visable etc. I added -d3do extention to my target on
desktop and it works just ok if I run it from desktop icon. But if I load the
cd and click on play I get the same blurry, no pointer etc. Does anyone know
what might be wrong? Also it seems to run very slow and sluggish.  I have my
accelerator to full and cd read ahead at minium.
I'm running a 166
64 meg
3d/2d Raven Voodoo Banshee 16 Mb
Any help / suggestions would be appreciated
Thanks in advance
Joe

you need to update your video drivers
goto www.3dfx.com and navigate around till ya find Voodoo Banshee Referance
Drivers. download them and read the readme.txt to install them, the go to
infoseek.com and search for the NFS:HS Voodoo2/Banshee fix, or just use your
desktop icon, and close the Autoplay from the CD when it comes up
