nfs2se was specifically made to run with a 3dfx card.  It should be working
if you have glide installed; are you trying to run it in xp or something?

As said, on the PC with the Voodoo card it should work if you have Glide
installed. On the one with the GeForce2, you'll need a 'Glide wrapper'.

Well, the easy way is to do a Google search for them, since I've forgotten where
I found them and some have even disappeared since... eVoodoo should be easy to
find since it's still constantly being updated.

Hi, It might be a bit too late to respond (I just started to read this
group).

In order to run NFSII SE in Glide mode you need to copy the
NFS2SEA.EXE file from the CD to the folder on your HD where the game
is installed and change the shortcut, or add a new one to point to
this EXE instead of the original program EXE.

There's also a different Icon on the CD in a file called NFS2SEA.ICO
that you can also copy over if you want to.

You should note that there is no dashboard display in the***pit view
when in Glide mode.

The graphics are a big improvement over software mode except for the
missing dashboard. If your kid is like mine and prefers to drive from
the outside, then it's no problem.
