Hey,

Hopefully Eric will read this and help me some... Ive done everything under the sun to help fix this, my last resort is going to earlier detonator drivers, but ive tryed new sound drivers, older ones,  changing things in the core.ini, etc etc etc, reinstalled n2k2 3 times,  and still, my car and the ones around me have cracking noises and sound like im driving a honda civic from fast n the furious. N4 sounds perfect, as do all my other games, Music plays beautofully, even the n2k2 demo has good sound. LOL. whats up?!

There are some fixes listed here - search down the board a ways. One of them
was to enable PCI to DRAM prefetch in your system bios, if your bios has
that setting. A couple of people reported that it solved the problem for
them.
