Is this in pure DOS? Or is this in Win95? If the former, you may have
a faulty memory chip. If the latter you may have installed new video
drivers and you need to reset your *.pif file to setup your memory
requirments.

How much free disk space do you have on your hard drive? I had a memory
problem that came out of the blue also. I have 40megs of ram and I noticed
the system was using nearly all of it, as a result there wasn't enough
memory to run N2. I finally realized that my hard drive partition that N2
was on was nearly full because of some stuff I had downloaded from the net.
