Screamer 2 - Time Attack 'ghost' car missing

Any idea why I don't get to race against my previous best 'ghost' car as
it says in the manual ?

I have the option enabled in the 'Option' console, but I don't get
to see the it.

I only have a 486DX4/100 with 8Mbytes.  Could this be something to do
with it ?

i.e. I think it only works in Time Attack mode, and not in any of the
other modes of play.

i remember seeing it working. choose 'Time Attack', which then gives you
the choice of 'free run' and '3 laps', if i remember correctly.  if u
choose '3 laps' and *complete all 3 laps* then i'm sure the ghost car
shows up the next time you do another 3 lap time attack.  afaik it'll be
following your previous laps, not your 'best' lap.

dont think so!  ;)

Screamer 1 needed 16MB for the ghost car to work properly.  I'm
not sure about the ghost car in Screamer 2, but I do know that 8 MB
won't give you: high res/high color, extra sounds and graphics, or even a
replay!

The 8mb may well be something to do with it although I'm not sure. The
original Screamer didn't let you have the ghost car in time-attack if
you had less than 12mb...
