Allright,  first lemme say as a mod, this work is fantastic.  now...onto
MINOR quibbles.
After driving a night race, the replay is in broad daylight.
The big screens around the tracks seem intent on showing the Formula 1
cars rather than the GT cars.
The announcer needs to be updated.  This actually may be do-able.  There
is a site that took the drivers files for 2001 and updated them to work with
the 2002 drivers lineup.(and cars too)  So if the Simbin boys contacted this
fellow, maybe he could provide custom announcer files.  We could hear
something like... "The Viper driver set the fastest lap"  instead of
"____________set the fastest lap."
it may be just my ragged driving style, but when i cook the tires by
sliding into a corner, even if I save it and drive on, I can almost
guarentee  that I will swap ends at the next corner.  This 'seemed' to be
fixed with the demo of F1 2002 so I'm hoping it is also carried on with v3
when it's released.

let me add and STRESS that these do NOT detract from the great work the
Simbin boys have done.    This mod is far more polished than many retail
titles.  And I cannot thank them enough for including the BEEG MOPAR SNAKE
car in their work.

And finally let me thank and congratulate you boys for a job well done.

I havent experienced the prob with spinning dave. Ive had alot of slides and
not noticed any problems after... i did notice that if you slide and lock
the wheels up alot, you will hammer your tyres quickly which is realistic,
unlike some sims where locking the tyres has a minimal effect. Where is the
option the enable the replay again anyway :)

I saw that, but it didn't seem to be wear as much as heat.  I could slide
through a hairpin on the first lap then loop it on the milder turn that
follows..  Looking at the tire indicators, the heat boxes changed colors but
the tire wear wasn't a problem yet...  however, the tires ACTED like they
had worn down.
But i turned it off like you and the readme said..and I just did a few
laps at magny Coors.  Turning off the tire wear DID seem to help.  Not
enough testing to be sure though.

This issue will be sorted in our 2002 port. Tyre wear AND proper operating
temeratures.

Cheers

Ian

Speaking of porting it to 2002, how long after the release do you think
we'll be able to play this fantastic Mod?

My only gripe is the way the cars sound.
