Indy Track Pack LARGE disappointment

Hello People

Unless I'm a complete idiot the 'Racings Greatest Thrills' CD
as sold by Rocket Science Software DOES NOT contain the IndyCar
Track Pack. This is a copy of my Email sent to the company.

"I bought Racings Greatest Thrills today. I am very disappointed with
the software due to the fact that the box to the game advertises
that within the box it contains among other things the 'IndyCar Track
Pack'
After installing the IndyCar software I began my search of the CD for
the trackpack software. It is not on the CD. I am very annoyed because
this is the only reason I spent my money on your product.
The Box clearly shows on the front a picture of the Papyrus IndyCar
Track Pack box. Also on the back of the box another picture from the
Original TrackPack and a guide to the extra tracks which are said to be
on the software within the Racings Greatests Thrills package. In England
this is deemed as false advertising and is a criminal offence. I
purchased the game at a 'Byte' store in Central London. I require a full
explanation of why it is advertised as containing the TrackPack Software
and some sort of compensation for my wasted money.
I will be updating rec.autos.simulators today of what I have
experienced. I will also be copying a similar email to Papyrus
Software."

Maybe 'Racings Greatest Disappointments' would be a more apt title.
One not very happy person :(

I haven't seen the pack you're refering to, but be careful. The original
ICR1 came with something like 8 tracks. _Two_ track packs were released.
One had (just) IMS, the other having the remaining circuits (Elkhart
Lake, etc). The latter was referred to as the "IndyCar Track Pack" so if
you have more than 8 tracks (but not IMS), you have received what the box
said it provided.

If the pack does only contain the original 8 tracks then you have indeed
been ripped off. Complain direct to Byte (legally they are responsible
since you bought it from them, not Rocket Science Software) and have a
word with your local Trading Standards Office who may be willing to take
on the case for you.

Cheers,
Richard
