On nascar 1 is there a way to determine the frame rate that is being
prodiced?  I know it can be done on icr and others but i'm not sure on
nascar, thanks

The only way to do this is to slowly adjust minimum frame rates from 10
up to 30 and note when the graphics stops being drawn.  Set all of your
graphics up the way you want them.  No. of cars drawn, FM sound, etc.
Then turn one of the options like car textures from ON to AUTO.  Set the
minimum frame rater to 10, maximum to 30.  Run a practice session.  If
after 5 minutes of driving in lots of traffic, the car textures are
still being drawn, you can say that you are at least getting 10 fps.
Increase the minimum by 1 and do the same thing again.  Keep doing this
until it begins to blink car textures.  That will be your limit.  The
reason you have to run a 5 minute practice session is that I've found
that sometimes it takes that long for the computer to decide if it can
display the car textures.

Hope this helps,

David Martin
