Have you ever been frustrated by not knowing where your favorite sim
site is? Have you ever tried to find all the complicated URLs to some
of these sites? Believe me, there are a multitude of great racing
sites out there, but nobody has a comprehensive directory.
Well, after maintaining the IWCCCARS Project for two years, I have
decided to get a one-step solution for this problem. I figured, "If
Winsock apps have TUCOWS or Stroud's to catalog and rate them, I think
racing Web sites should get the same treatment." Thus was born the
idea for The Racer's Choice Web Directory.
The RCWD is actually quite similar in concept to Stroud's CWSAPPS
page. A site is submitted for review, posted with a rating, and
linked for easy access -- no more having to jump on
rec.autos.simulators to constantly ask for a URL. In addition, the
sites will be rated according to originality, completeness, polish,
and quality, with the best sites receiving The Racer's Choice Award.
The RCWD should be ready to go live within a week or so. If you have
