Braking longer into the corner, rather than doing all the braking
before turning into the corner. As in "trailing off " (steadily
reducing)
the braking as the corner is entered.

You are slightly faster during the first part of the turn
and the braking may help you turn into the corner better
and/or avoid upsetting the suspension at some critical
point due to road camber or altitude changes (because of the
continued weight transfer forward under the deceleration).

You didn't mention how damn hard it is to do successfully (ie not spin
out when turning in)!!!!

It's because more weight is being shifted onto the front wheels, giving them
more grip and therefore giving you oversteer. Try dialing in a bit of
understeer in your setup.

For trail braking you ALWAYS need a bit understeering setup (used with 85/30
ramp angles).
Also, if you have dual axis peddals, apply some throttle while braking and
turning-in - that's the theory :o)

I'm yet to make my T2 peddals work on separate axis... :o))
