MOTO RACER/MMX...DOESNT WORK.

by AIR_TIM » Thu, 04 Sep 1997 04:00:00

This is a copy of a message I sent to Electronic Arts...the thing is I
don't think Moto Racers MMX code works, at least not with Pentium II's
anyone else stand to correct me?  POD uses MMX right? mabye I will buy that
and see if it works...if it does that EA needs to fix MOTO RACER ASAP!
Direct X 5.0 Detects my MMX fine so I don't know wha the hell is up with
MOTO RACER

Ok here is the deal, the MMX in this game doesnt work.

I have to use the -noMMX for the game to even run! whats up with that?
What happens is if I dont use that -noMMX the game doesnt even get past the
first screen...ex..I push the very first button at the title screen and it
dumps me to windows..if I use the -noMMX command it works fine but darnit I
want it to use MMX...now my question is whats wrong with your game? or is
there some weird chance that my MMX doesnt work on my PII?? I really doubt
its my chip.....Please Help me.

this is my computer specs..Running Direct X 5.0... Used 3.0 first but did
the same thing.
