Phantom marshalls in F1GP?

Phantom marshalls in F1GP?

Whilst driving around Montreal last night I noticed a Phantom Marshall
waving a grey/brown flag. I could only see him for a plit second as I
screamed round T1 and braked for T2; he was on the right and appeared
to be floating a few feet above the ground. I tried again this morning
but he was not there (perhaps he only comes out at night). Anyone else
had any ghostly visions in the game?

Dave, Dave, Dave....  Get some more sleep, man, you're seeing things.
You haven't been to Amsterdam lately, have you?

Maybe Montreal has a few bugs (or ghosts), as I had a marshall waving
his yellow flag standing in the middle of the track, just past the end
of the pitlane.  He was there for the whole race after a first lap
incident :)  To get the right line, I eventually summoned up the
courage to drive through him, it made me wince each time round though.

Giz:
Exiting one of the turns at Silverstone in pre-season mode, you see what resembles a grey car.
Turns out to just be a trick of the background, but what made it spooky was that I first noticed
it during the Derm Quinn Memorial race for Compuserve...

Yes. The game isn't very good at dealing with walls and barriers. If you
crash hard enough into one you can end up on the other side, or
even stuck in the middle, with very odd graphical effects. :-)

Has anyone seen the car images that appear on the wall on the left
after you exit the hairpin at Monaco? (only if other cars are coming down the
hill into the hairpin).

This may be too stupid for this group, but I'll bite:

How can I get my car stuck in the middle of a wall?  I think I've gone
through some.

Every time there are cars up there...

At Spa, if you spin out at the tight corner leaving pit lane, and face
the wrong way, you can see the cars in the pits*** in mid air,
just where the pause sign comes on. There is a little string of them
going off into the distance.

Has anyone ever collided in the race with a car that was being lifted
off the track? I sheared my own head off that way, I think! I thought
I could get under it but no luck.

While talking about weird in F1GP. During one of my races in Hockenheim one of
the Ligier's went out of the race and the marshall's pushed it to the right
edge on the track just a few meters away from where the cars exited from the
third chicane in Notredame. Each time around all the cars had to switch their
racing line as soon as they exited the turn at very high speeds in order to
avoid running into the Ligier. Talk about making things safe in racing! :)

My favorite marshall move is to park the disabled cars at the exits
of the Peralta in Mexico and following the fisrt corner at Silverstone.  It
seems that I never fail to go farming within a few laps and smash
the "safely" parked car.  Ohhh, my poor nerves.
