To correct you just a bit,SDram is not topped out at 100mhz its also being
made at 133mhz as well now.The rambus ram is suppose to allow you to do things
like burn a cd while performing other tasks but mags that have tested equal
systems using the 440,820,and the New Via chipset and have seen little
improvement over SDram and at this point its not really worth the premium
price you'll pay.I'm also looking at a new system and have been researching
this thing big time and right now I'm leaning towards the Micron 733 with the
Via chip and 133mhz SDram.Just haven't completely made up my mind yet:)
