My news reader (OE 6) blocked it because of the ActiveX control. You never

I have a better Idea, just dont visit this newsgroup. For someone who is so
set on Co-existance, you sure try and tell everyone else how to do what they
are doing, not what you are doing. If you don't want to see it, put him in
your kill-file. That is where he has you, which is why he does not respond.

It's common courtesy not to post in HTML. Some people don't know that, which
is why Ymenard was letting him know. How was his polite request deserving of
your harsh response?

Hehe I love somebody going "Don't tell others what to do!". Well aren't you
just doing that anyway? Nice double-standards. The guy simply forgot that
he wasn't in the general.discussion newsgroup anymore. Especially since it
was just a suggestion (I wrote "please"), nothing rude at all compared to
you.

He perhaps simply forgot to turn it off, or had no idea that HTML posting
(especially HTML with embedded source code) isn't well appreciated over the
normal Usenet. You know, not the general.discussion him and I post to).

Oh yeah finally, please have the decency to edit the quotes you are posting.

because Frank is always acting like Mr. Know-it-all. He knows I know about
HTML, I've been on usenet for a couple of years here and there. I usually
just hang out here for information that people post to help me decide on the
quality of new sims. I usually don't speak up. He may have just responded to
see if I had him killfiled or not, which I do. It actually carried over from
another newsgroup. I had actually posted the first message in here by
mistake. Mr Frank thinks we should not be bombing Afghanistan because he is
a pacifist. He says everyone should co-exist peacefully, and talks against
the United States for defending themselves, yet he is always the first
person to tell you how he thinks things should be done, on the net in this
case. For example, breaking a usenet rule is a cardinal sin and has to be
stopped while destroying our buildings and people should not be dealt with.
This is to show his supreme intellect (sarcasm intended). Mr. Pittman was
just defending me, which I appreciate. There's always a story behind the
story. If you are interested, go to the old BHMS newsgroup now at
news.mho***.com in the general.discussion group and search for F***
MENARD and the surrounding threads. Trust me, they are still on the server.
The message wasn't intended for this group. I apologize to any for the HTML.
In the other group, chaos (HTML and whatever else) pretty much reigns, and
most of the time that's a good thing <G>.

yeah, Microsoft, instead of fixing the problem with the security of the
controls, has everyone just disable them. The size of the message was only
5K, because it downloads the animation from a web site, only when accessed.
In other words, the object is not embedded. Anywho, like I said in another
post below, sorry, message wasn't intended for here anyway.

It's just a blasphemy to have an embedded shockwave loading when you are

shockwave application in non-HTML. The problem would had never happened,
and I just suggested that.

I never "flamed" you, just told you to cut out the HTML, even more if you
wanted to send us to a shockwave link ;-)

No, in fact I lurk in over 300 newsgroups (I dislike any other thing on the
web) and most of them do not have any kind of HTML problem. Heck, even SPAM
is normally not in html... <G>
