When you are running behind someone in the sim, do you loose downforce?

I would have to say yes. My car gets very tight in turns at 'Dega if I'm
drafting someone.
I first thought that it was the increase in speed but noticed that it is
not nearly as tight when they are behind me at the same MPH.

Yes, you lose front downforce (a lot) and some rear downforce when
running behind someone. When someone is behind you, you lose some rear
downforce...
