With the talk of the road tracks being difficult, I was wondering if
anyone is having a especially difficult time with the mid-ohio track.
It seems no matter what settings I use there, its like driving on ice
from the back staight through to the start finish line.  Any
suggestions of hints.  All comments are welcome.
Many Thanks
DAVE

Use the FAST setup, drop the rear wing just a bit (top
speed is about 159mph I think), stiffen the shocks in back to 100%,
AND pactice... The track somehow will come to you one day. I have
spent a lot of time racing a friend via modem in Mid Ohio - teaches
you to be cautious first, and then maybe push it a bit. The winner
was always the one who drove more carefully. Now both of us
are in the low 1:10.xxx range, adn will soon run 1:09s. Comparing
our replays with the editrpy utility, we are still all over the
place, which suggests that a 1:08 is easily possible with these
setups. Mid Ohio is my favorite road track...

Peter:
The thing that makes M-O especially tough is that it seems like every
turn is blind...
Laguna will probably always be my favourite, but Mid Ohio isn't bad.
