I was doing fairly badly in Australia at Intermediate level but managed to
win
the Special Stage at the end. This then gave me the RS200. Because I
hadn't
done very well overall I decided not to save my game progress and try again.
This time I did much better and won the rally overall and won the special
stage but this time I did not get the RS200 :-(

What are the conditions for getting the extra cars then ??

p.s. I get a very annoying "hiccup" in the game, as though there is a disk
access,
but according to my daughter (who I got to check the disk lights while I was
driving)
there aren't any accesses. They occur randomly, but about every 10-20
seconds.
Any Ideas as to what it could be ? It doesn't seem to be resolution/detail
dependant
so I don't think its the graphics.

Long time since I played CMR but even if you didn't save the game the fact
should still be that you recorded getting the RS200. Have you loked to see?

You get an extra car when you win a Special Stage, no need winning the
rally!
I guess it will be there even if you didn't save the game???
