Just watched knoxville nationals,  Come on Sierra let's make a World of
Outlaws using the GPL engine.  Do it before someone ruins it's concept of a
so called sim.  Anybody else along with this idea?

If you pick up ABC Indy Racing - The Road To Indy sim, make sure you pick up
my "Gasoline Alley" steering editor.  This game was one patch away from
greatness, IMO.   The Eldora track is fun, but the steering is horrible, and
my editor only helps to a certain degree.  I can give you some more tips on
how to improve on it, f you decide to give it a try.

Check out my ABC Indy Racing site:

Enjoy!

Outlaws by Sierra?????????

I second the motion ...don't care who does it,
but I think a World of Outlaws sim would be a big
hit.

The thought of force feedback and a physics model
that lets you feel the sensation of running down
the front straight with one (or both) front
wheels in the air would be a dream come true.

It would also create a whole new class of game
controllers ...someone would have to come up with
a lever so you can adjust the wing at 140 mph.

We'd need another button for tearaways when the
mud builds up on your visor ... and knee braces
to keep your feet on the pedals ...perhaps a
highs speed fan to blow dirt and *** fumes
into your face too ...<grin>

Outlaws by Sierra?????????

hey guys..

just checking, but doesn't Sierra/Papyrus already have the physics /
foundations set for a World of Outlaws Sprint car game??

Just take a look at S.O.D.A. Off-Road Racing.. You can 'broadslide' /
powerslide on there!! They already have the Dirt sliding surface physics in
the game. They can work from there!!

Doesn't Sierra / Papyrus already have a basis for the physics / foundation
for World of Outlaw type Sprint Car Racing?? I believe if you take a look at
S.O.D.A. Offroad Racing, you'll see they have the 'broadsliding /
powersliding' technique of the Sprint Cars already started with their buggy,
4 X 4 and pickup, am I right on that guys?
