Any one know why GPL has such massive borders.
Surely this should not be neccesary in this day and age ?

Anyone know if I have missed a setting
My Machine is
Celeron 300A o'ced to 450 mhz
64 MB ram
12 MB voodoo 2

Thanks for any help

No, its got the "letterbox" style for a reason. Using the widescreen
view, you get a much wider view left and right, which is **WAY** more
important than up and down in a racing sim. Its so you can see arounds
the corners better, instead of looking at the sky...

I gather you mean the "widescreen view", ie ~1.5" black bands top and bottom?
No, you haven't missed a setting.  I gather their rationale would be that they
wanted a certain field of view left-to-right which given the typical layout
resolutions would result in an unnecessary, and more importantly,
computationally wasteful, amount of sky being shown above.

Perhaps in a few years, Papyrus will start supporting those widescreen
monitors.  Oh, what a dream come true for the *** racer!
