LFS....how is multi?

Downloaded the latest version, and it seems like great fun. Not sure
that it's worth the price of registering simply for offline play
though. Can someone tell me what the multi is like? Are there
sufficient numbers of drivers yet to make this worth while?

Also, it's not clear rather registering now will provide future
updates at no cost.

You can play the demo part of it online without having to pay still.

Right now, There are around 47 S1 servers running with close to
80+  people playing it now.

The multi is good, but most people are learning the cars/tracks
online, so there are those guys that get in the way or crash
allot causing huge wrecks.

Registering will only provide future patches for S1 (if there are any)
When/If S2 comes out, it will be another 12 pounds.
And S3 will be yet another 12.

Good! I'm already set to sneak in unnoticed then... :)

I don't they they've actually settled on neither contents nor pricing of
the next stages yet. As stated, "so much depends on the S1 release".

So let's put some $$$ in there... Sure, online activation is a bother, but
if it makes you feel any better, you could well consider at least half the
(low) price a one-time fee for the online connection services. After all -
it IS an "on-line racing simulator". Says so, right on their home page!

(Note: "You" referring to all non-licensed players out there, not the
posters in the thread! :)

Ditto... ;-) Though last night I finally managed to compelte a whole lap without
getting out of the track and/or hitting a wall (and I don't mean "first time in
LFS", but "first time in any racing sim I've tried"; I'm happy because I also
managed one such lap in netkar the same night).
