NROS finish line bug !!! jpeg on a.b.s.a.

Fellow NROSers,

Please evaluate the jpeg image I have posted to
alt.binaries.simulators.autos

It shows the finish line of the last lap of a recent NROS race. I (in
car 39, red and white car) am leading and you can see my front bumper is
just across the start/finish line. Yet I was not credited for the win.
The car on the outside, a good half car length behind was credited with
the win. Heck I even celebrated a little before I realized I hadn't won.
Now, I'm not complaining too loudly here, cause I think NROS is great,
but I don't see how this can be ignored. Also just be warned that this
bug from the original NASCAR 2 has not been corrected. I would tend to
think that this has to be fixed before the real competition begins. Also
I can't figure out why the replay screen says lap 8 of 9, when this was
the last lap of the race. Maybe I missed something here. Also I still
have the replay if Papyrus or NROS people want to see it.

Thanks,

Matt

Kyle - believe it or not, NROS just that; the NROS scoring system should
correct checkered flag finishing order if a car passes on the same "tick"
as crossing finish line.  However, there remain some kinks to be worked out
to get all of the lap scoring conditions Internet-ready.  Hang in there,
we're workin on it!
