For **** Sake What Is This Group For?

by Dan Prescot » Sat, 15 Aug 1998 04:00:00

Why is it that when a relevant news thread exists for those who could be
interested in its content there are those others who feel that they
should abuse the thread's creator in such a fashion aiding in only
creating extra news items that only clutter the group?

****'s me right off that does.

Hi Dan,

I'm assuming your post is about my reply to your earlier TOCA post,
is it not?  With a typo like "LICE" in the thread's header, did you
honestly think it would go unnoticed?  Perhaps it was a deliberate
attempt to get others to read the thread, but in any event, you
should be prepared to receive my silly responses.

This doesn't mean that I'm "abusing" the threads creator, just that
I'm poking a bit o' fun, and to bring to light that you should take
just_a_wee_second to scan your post before hitting the send button.

I'm far from perfect, but at least I'm willing to accept the comments
that fly my way, constructive, silly or otherwise.  =)

Cheers!

Marc
