NHRA: Is just terrible.

I bought this game because I am getting a new puter with a 16MB
Riva AGP video board. I just don't get it. The fact that this game
has been out for so long and has not been patched yet is very bad.
I find it impossible to drive using keys or buttons for pedals. You
cannot tell me that the beta testers did not know about this either.
Burnout is a much better drag racing game IMHO. I didn't keep it
because you could build unrealistic cars, and the BURNOUT (ironically)
function of the game did not work. I'm sure that has been fixed by now
right? Anyway back to NHRA... The only thing it does better than Burnout
is Burnouts. Other than that the game just sucks and is completely
unplayable. So back it goes.

Another good note, is the graphics on my 3dfx board (using low res) were
not bad at all. Oh well at least I did try it I guess.

Greg,
If you are looking to pick up Burnout again, I would pick up Burnout:
Players Choice Edition. It has a slightly altered physics, the burnout work,
NOS is added, more cars, incar views, and just more realisitc settings. Yes
you can still build a 1000 HP 1 cyl car, but I recomend just NOT DOING IT,
if you dont like it.
Burnout:PCE has evolved fairly well and is much more respectable that
Burnout v1.0. You will have a lot of fun with it, good luck
