Let's keep the list to current titles:
Nascar Racing 99 Edition (Papyrus/Sierra Sports)
Nascar Revolution (EA Sports)
Nascar Racing 3. (Papyrus/Sierra Sports)
If you can wait until this Fall, get N3, but if you want absolutly to buy
one, take Nascar Racing 99. Stay away from Nascar Revolution if you want
realism.
CART Racing (Papyrus/Sierra Sports)
CART : Precision Racing (Microsoft)
If you want one, hmm it depends. CART Racing (renamed from Indy Car Racing
2) is a little old, but it's still the best one iMHO for realism and you
have soo many add-ons (you can exchage tracks with other Papyrus titles).
C:PR is "ok", I would say, but Cart Racing stands out from a sim point of
iew.
Grand Prix Legends (Papyrus/Sierra Sports)
Monaco Grand Prix Racing Simulator 2 (Ubisoft)
<snip arcade stuff>
GPL models the 1967 Formula 1 season, and is presently by a BIG margain the
most accurate racing simulator ever. Buy it ! :) MGPRS2 is currently
the best modern F1 sim compared to GP2 because of the nice graphics, and
updated everything. But it has weak sound, questionable physics, and some
poor AI and multiplayer settings. I guess you should try the demo for all
the games I have listed up here.
