NASCAR2 LAN RACE IN GEORGIA - 39 DRIVERS ON THE TRACK AT ONCE

How would you like to race against 38 people, AT THE SAME TIME, ON THE
SAME TRACK?

It's true, using Nascar2 this can be accomplished Over a Local Area Network.
Think about 40 QUALIFIED Drivers racing IN THE SAME ROOM, no latency, no
warp, no dial up problems.

We are hosting a LAN meet in Georgia (near Atlanta) over Labor day Weekend.
I am providing the Network Hub, Server, and Cable. You have to provide your
own PC and a Network Card. If you don't have a card we can help you choose
which one is right for you. We are also providing the space.

YOU JUST HAVE TO GET THERE !!!!!!!

I am currently creating a mailing list of those individuals that are
interested in racing with us. I am not asking for a commitment (you might
not even qualify) but we do want to send out a complete description of what
exactly we are going to be doing to those TEN,NROS, or online league racers
that live within a few hours of Atlanta.

For more information write to:

David McCall

We look forward to hearing from you.

This is very cool. Too bad I'm in Montreal... As for the 40 drivers, I
thought the limit with IPX/Lan was 8 drivers...

Will take a wild stab, and say they found a way to tweak the NROS software to
allow 35+ on a LAN..

v1.02 or 1.01 one of them allows 39, a tweak that TEN was using to beta
test.

        1.02?!  I've only seen 1.01 (and NOTHING for NR99).  I have 2
friends right now and a 3rd soon who will be buying NR99 and we all
wanted to race over the net against each other.
Any ideas how?  Doesn't KALI work with NR99?  It seems to pick
up my N2 install (THAT's the one I put all the patches on & save my
offline settings for NR99), but won't let me add NR99.
