Hi there!!

Just got hold of Screamer2 and tried to use my T2, but no luck!
The setup-sequence accepts the wheel-motions but nothing happens
when I hit the pedals......
Anyone with the same problems? (possible solutions??)

Btw, I use my SB-port and it works just fine with the rest of my games...

Then I tried Screamer 1 and it had the same problems...

The reason, I would not buy Screamer or Destruction Derby. It is
pretty silly that these developers put all that effort in a auto
racing game and leave out support for the T2. I really wanted to buy
DD but wouldn't because of this, so I decided to wait for DD2. I was
totally surprised whrn I found out that DD2 did NOT support the D2
either.  NOT2 NO PURCHASE

I'm enjoying Screamer 2 WITH the T2 !!

And don't ask me how I did it, because I did nothing special......

I had the same problem, I also couldn't get my pedals to work. Now it
works ok. Here's what you should do:

1) unzip the attachment file -attached in this mail- to get the
CONTROLS.CFG file
2) copy the file CONTROLS.CFG over your old file
3) run S2 setup, select the controls. Now you will see joystick BX for
acceleration and braking (so don't use the adaptor, just the plain T2
connection). "Change" the gear up (you don't have to actually change
it, but the setup program needs to think you have changed something so
that it will calibrate your wheel and pedals).
4) Exit setup with saving, run Screamer and enjoy. Don't forget to
store a copy of the CONTROLS.CFG file in a safe place, if you should
ever have to install the game again, because you will not be able to
put the "BX" in the controls yourself.

I got my T2 working with Screamer2 here's how:

Connect a standard joystick to your joystick port, run the s2 setup and
callibrate the joystick. You should get 2 calibrate bars for left/right
and up/down. After calibrating sucessfully I connect my T2 (w/adaptor)
and re-run setup and calibrate. (The up/down bar is present now and
calibrates the pedals!)
