I give NA$CAR and EA the finger. Competition is a good thing. Do something
for your fanbase instead of going for the quick cash grab.

they paid big bucks to have exclusuve rights because they know they cant
make a decent game.
the only way we can show our displesure with what they have done, is to not
buy any EA games anymore.

It doesn't matter.  The 200-300 people here aren't even a drop in the bucket of
the tens of thousands who buy computer games.  EA wouldn't even miss our
dollars...

You know Eldred I have been thinking the same way for years. While some here
are very vocal it really doesn't matter to the corporations. I'll bet 99% of
game players don't even know Usenet even exists.

What was that link someone posted a while back that gave newsgroup stats?  That
might tell us how many actively post here, anyway.  It wouldn't see the
lurkers.

actually, i am glad nr2k3 is the last from papy, for a while.
this will cause a great amount of stablity in the online racing circles.
also, people will be more willing to put the time into developing extras
using project wildfire.

Cool - I won't have to worry about buying another NASCAR game until
2010.  As long as we can patch in new season info who needs to
reinvent the game each year - 2003 pretty much perfected the series.

We already have the most realistic, fun, and incredible rendiditon of NASCAR
Racing...N2003!   And it will be for a long time to come.
