True, you do have to get out there and mix it up with the big boys. My
main point was that if you are learning a track for the first time,
especially a road course, you have to perfect your own approach before
you going out and battling other drivers. It is very necessary to go
out there with traffic. This way you find out where your strong points
are and where you weak points are. This is where you pick up your
passing skills and more important when not to attempt a pass. You will
also need to see how the other drivers react to you, the course and the
other drivers.
