Ed,
A few possibilities come to mind:
1. When you ran set-up and pointed the file to your ORIGINAL F1 2002 executable
file, are you sure that you selected the correct executable? (If you've
installed any other mod, or run the NoCD patch, it might have changed. I
pointed it to my new executable from the NoCD patch. In other words, the
current one that is invoked to now start-up F1 2002.)
2. Ditto for the original game's CONFIG.INI file.
3. The only other thing that I can think of is Did you try running it in Win98
compatibility mode? You're running WinXP, right? I think that it has some kind
of compatibility mode, doesn't it? I've got the mod running on my system with
the same VidCard as you, but my OS is Win 98SE.
