I've only now been able to pull myself away from Driver on the playstation
after many hours. Excellent physics - exagerrated for fun bullit style cop
evasion.
Excellent r&r from GPL!!

I've seen it in 3 or 4 shops here in the UK. Where in the world are you,
Ryan? It's a big place :)
You lucky fellas....hehe, I might hold out for the Computer version just so
I can use my steering wheel and pedals. The game does look promising though,
as I just bought Midtown Madness. That is fun, and if anything, I hope
Driver will be better. Finally I can get to use my directorial skills at a
cool game... :)
If you ever feel like telling me about it or something, just give me a
hollar at my email, should be in the message somewhere.

SFC is very good favourite with lots of hills a la Bullit, trams and back
alleys with trash and boxes to drive through especially in Chinatown where
the scenery is quite good. The handling is very cop-movie-chase like with
lots of oversteering but very well done - you get into it quite easily and
enjoy taunting cop cars into a chase. Once excellent feature is the ability
to make movie replays of your chase, either using the auto-director feature
which randomly selects camera positions or you can do it yourself
positioning a variety of cameras for each shot with quite impressive
results.
One of my best was screeching to a halt at traffic lights, cutting to
several shots of my stationary car, cut to an approaching cop-car and then a
long shot as I burn away tyres squealing and belching smoke as the cops take
the bait and chase - you end up watching the replays over and over like your
own personal version of bullit and exchanging them with friends.
Highly entertaining fun.
