Is there a good site with a schedule of some racing events in NY, and
near by areas like NJ, Connecticut etc? I know that there is The Glen,
but that is kinda far from Brooklyn NY. Thanx for any info at all.

We got a short track out in riverhead LI, and Trump wants to build a track near
the city. e-mail me back

Darek it is kinda late in the year. We have nothing much going on right now.
But Orange County in Middletown NY. Upstate about 40 minutes from you. Is
holding a really big DIRT modified race the weekend of October 24th. In the
summer you could go to Riverhead Raceway, in Riverhead For some NASCAR
modified and late model racing. Or you could head down to the Jersey shore.
Wall Stadium is still running each Saturday night, in Belmar (exit 98 on the
garden state.) But that is about it, I think. Check these sites.
I'm going to Orange County. It should be a great race.

Come to Lime Rock Park in CT next saturday and see a bunch of racing. Busch
North series, Barber Dodge championships, Pro-Trucks, and SCCA Improved Touring
cars. Lime Rock is a road course 2 hours from NYC. All info at
www.limerock.com. Come by and say hi to the #14 ITB car in the "B" paddock
(me). Also there are races at Pocono International, also about 2 hours from
Manhattan.

You know Darek, there is the last Busch North race at Lime Rock Park in
Connecticut. It's up in the northwest corner next to Sharon in
Lakeville. This weekend is the last Busch North race and the
Championship Barber Dodge race.
